  • International Marketing Manager - UK

    THE OPPORTUNITY

    Xplore Technologies is seeking an International Marketing Manager to cover EMA, which is Europe, Middle East/Africa and APAC with a principle focus on UK, France, Germany and Australia. The individual will be responsible for supporting and driving increased revenue with the team by developing and implementing a marketing program.

    The position will ideally be based in London, UK.

    THE POSITION

    • Identify present situation and needs for marketing in the region, understanding the needs of each country
    • Develop and implement an European marketing program including strategy, levelling and deliverables that meet the needs and can be executed regionally
    • Identify appropriate localisation of the marketing program and agree this with the team, setting expectations for all parties, including co-ordination and delivery of corporate led initiatives and programs
    • Monitor performance of the program, eliciting feedback, identifying and agreeing improvements. Understand deviations from the agreed strategy and address these, escalating as necessary
    • Maintain collateral and initiative to support the program
    • Identify the best practice in partner marketing activities and ensure that this is accommodated within the program and shared across the region and with our corporate channel marketing lead
    • Establish and provide guidelines, that will maximise sales development
    • Support and manage campaign development for the partner sales portal
    • Develop marketing plan template for local marketing to use with partners, working to ensure these plans are implemented, budget is made available and plans are executed
    • Support product training materials to enable proactive work and educate partners
    • Act as the central point of contact for all marketing activity
    • Monitor and measure prospects being redirected to Xplore partners through the website

    BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

    • Experience of constructing and executing an international marketing program
    • Worked in an European and USA multicultural matrix organisation
    • Excellent verbal and written communicator, highly effective working as part of a European marketing team
    • Able to effectively manage and translate the demands of the sales organisation into effective marketing actions that will drive incremental sales growth
    • Experience of building an European go-to-market channel
    • Delivered marketing campaigns in a direct and indirect business model
    • Partner experience within the IT industry
    • Budget responsibility
    • Ideally speak fluent English and preferably one other European language
    • Goal and task oriented with a visible desire to achieve and exceed business goals and objectives
    • Possess a personality which will respond positively to working within the structure of Xplore and is genuinely enthusiastic to face the challenges which they offer
    • You have integrity - maintain professional standards at all times - totally honest and can be trusted by Xplore, their customers and prospects
    • Ideally worked with a major multi-national corporation driven by quarterly results or a smaller company where every order is critical
    • Have an appropriate degree or qualification together with professional marketing training
