  • Sales Director - East Coast/Mid America

    Sales Director Position for East Coast/Mid America Territory

    Reporting to: Vice President, Sales

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Determines solution requirements for Xplore Technologies hardware, and services 
    • Is responsible for maximizing revenue from assigned accounts or territory 
    • Meets or exceeds assigned quota on consistent basis 
    • Works with the clients account team to progress the sale 
    • Orders and manages demo equipment as necessary to support assigned accounts or territory 
    • Drives the winning sales strategy for accounts 
    • Participates in executive management reviews for large opportunities 
    • Participates in internal program team meetings as required 
    • Maintain accurate information Salesforce.com for all opportunities 
    • Manages the closing process and dates associated with the sale 
    • Manages the activities of the Solutions Architect in support of large opportunities 
    • Works with the Services organization to convey deliverables for long term support of the account
    • Provides regular account status reports to the V.P. of Sales

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • 3-5 Years B2B Consultative Sales Experience 
    • 3-5 Years Vertical Market 
    • 3-5 Year Relevant Technology Experience 
    • 2-3 Year Recent Track Record of meeting/exceeding quota 
    • Travel 50% to 70%

    Global Services Marketing Manager

    Reporting to: Vice President, Marketing

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Work cross-functionally with Operations and Sales to plan, implement and promote new Global Service offerings.
    • Evangelize and train Sales and Channel Partners on company’s Service Offerings.
    • With Sales, help qualify and close Services business.
    • Provide reporting and analysis for Global Services business.

    Experience and Education Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of related education and experience
    • 7+ years Services experience in the computer industry
    • Experience working directly with customers on Service programs
    • Experience creating solutions for unusually complex problems
    • Strong communication skills
    • Strong project management skills
    • Ability to create project plans, determine milestones, and drive projects to meet milestone dates 
    • Ability to handle multiple projects while working day-to-day tasks

    • Skilled in team building and leadership

    Federal Sales Director

    Reporting to: Vice President, Sales

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Determines solution requirements for Xplore Technologies hardware, and services to be sold within Federal Markets including defense (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, etc.) and also Fed Civ.
    • Generate qualified leads and develop business with additional business with existing customers and new customers in conjunction with our strategic channel partners.
    • Is responsible for maximizing revenue from assigned accounts or territory
    • Meets or exceeds assigned quota on consistent basis
    • Works with the clients account team to progress the sale
    • Orders and manages demo equipment as necessary to support assigned accounts or territory
    • Drives the winning sales strategy for accounts

    Product Marketing Manager

    The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for managing product(s) throughout the entire product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products. The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for coordinating product launches - working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are exceeded. The Product Marketing Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals.

    The Product Marketing Manager is expected to:

    • Show passion and enthusiasm for the products and solutions
    • Define the product strategy and roadmap
    • Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
    • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
    • Be an expert with respect to the competition and market trends
    • Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
    • Perform product demos to sales, channel partners and customers
    • Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
    • Develop sales tools and collateral
    • Propose an overall budget to ensure success
    • Brief and train the sales force at sales meetings
    • Brief press and analysts and go on press tours
    • Act as a leader within the company

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5-10 years experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager
    • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Bachelor’s degree 
    • Technical background, with experience in Tablets, Handhelds or Rugged Devices a plus
    • Excellent teamwork skills
    • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
    • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time
    • Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past
